This lovely pair of spoons carry a set of 18th century style pseudo hallmarks (similar to Hanau silver) and lack any additional contemporary Dutch 19th century hallmarks. Each of these fine quality spoons has a twist. Handle with rat tail and is topped with a figure of an apostle. Width of bowl: 5 cm. This superb pair of spoons would make a wonderful gift for a loved one, or a lovely treat for yourself - an exemplary addition to your silverware collection.
In overall excellent condition for their age, with surface scratches and tarnish marks consistent with age, the hallmarks are visible in the bowl of the spoon, there are no dents or significant wear. The original fitted box is in fair condition and shows considerable wear and has a damaged hinge and broken clasp.
