Just in from an estate sale is a tall single DUTCH RENAISSANCE CANDLESTICK from 1825 - 1850, with amazing craftsmanship and detail. So beautiful, so elegant, See photos. The work is done in the. Repousse style with a twist shaft and decorative floral scenes in solid 83.3% fine silver (unmarked).

Mall opening at the bottom edge (see last photo) indicates the base was originally weighted. The candlestick is now 6.7 troy ounces of silver and totally unweighted.

5" in diameter, 7 1/2" tall. This candlestick was previously owned for about 200 years, and is in very good antique condition with a couple of small dings and very little wear. We have elected not to polish it, preferring the tarnished patina.
