Antique Dutch Silver Vinaigrette Smelling Salts Box

  
Antique Dutch Silver vinaigrette box. It is beautifully made with an all over floral pattern and ribbed sides. It is a nice weight in the hand and is a tactile piece. Originally I could only find a date letter Q for 1850 as shown in the photographs but upon closer inspection you can see marks have been hidden in the floral pattern, there is the lion mark with the 2 under it for at least 833 silver quality, there is also the minerva head and a couple of other marks that i couldn't make out- it measures1.5" long x 1 1/8" wide x 1/2 tall and weighs 24.9g on my scale. Condition is very good, it just needs a better clean than I gave it. Our Items are from various estate liquidations and are located at multiple locations.
