Antique Dutch 800 Fine Silver Oval Centrepiece Cherubs Carrying Flowers

  

ANTIQUE DUTCH 800 FINE SILVER OVAL CENTREPIECE. Oval outline form with raised sides. 9¾" wide, 8" deep, 1½ high. The sides are intricately decorated with openwork basket weave, scroll and floral medallions. Deep textured Rococo style repoussé decorations throughout this piece.

The oval plaque at the centre depicts a group of cherubs in a landscape, carrying a large bouquet of flowers. Hallmarked 800 near inner edge.
