Presented is a fine antique Dutch silver fork with a windmill for the tip of the handle. The blades on the windmill spin realistically around.
The handle has a classic openwork design with clusters of flowers at the base of the shaft. The fork is hallmarked on the tines with the lion mark for Dutch 833 purity silver and the maker's mark of R 133.
The handle is stamped with the date letter "O" for 1898 and the Minerva's head duty mark. The blades are marked with the Dutch small article mark. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.The fork is 7 3/8 inches long. The weight is 58.6 grams or 2.1 ounces.
