The seal depicts an orange tree in a large carrying tub and presumably relates to the House of Orange. The handle section is cast as a lion rampant with a crown on his head - height 32 mm.
Oval seal is 22 by 20 mm. The silver marks are SXXX and a final letter or mark which is unclear. These are Dutch 17/18th C marks. On the other side appears to be I. V - possibly a date.
Normally one section or another of a seal is fascinating. Rarely are you fortunate enough to find all of it with so much interest.
