The forks are done in a very classic form and they have never been monogrammed. The back of each fork is marked with the Minerva head duty mark, the rampant lion mark for.934 purity silver and a maker's mark. Some forks have a date letter P for the year 1849 and some have an R for 1851. This set is in excellent overall condition for its age.
