Two Pairs Of Dutch Solid Silver Serving Spoons
Two pairs of 19th century Dutch silver serving spoons, one pair are fully gilt. Both are with hand-made figural casted handles. Theres minor faded gilding on one gilt spoons handle, otherwise excellent condition. These spoons were made in early 19th century, theres a peoples name on one of the gilt spoons back, marked with being born on October 3, 1827. On the other gilt spoons back, theres an abbreviation GS. Both are marked but worn, hard to tell. The marks on the silver pair are clear, with both the makers mark and assayers mark. At least 833 silver standard. Length is about 17 cm, the gilt pair weigh approximately 129 grams, the silver pair weigh approximately 109 grams.
