I cannot see any noticeable repairs but there is a small split to the silver in the pierced section by the handle. There are marks which are Minerva's head to the side of the sifter bowl. On the back of the handle there is a diamond losenge on it's side and in that the marks are.There is also the lion passant and a date letter being a italic g. I believe this dates the item to 1816.
The losenge mark is for the maker which I have been unable to ascertain. The lion passant indicates that the silver is a minimum of 835 parts per 1000.
