A rare Dutch silver miniature or toy beer jug and four beaker set, made in the 17. Century style, in amazing condition and probably dating to the early 1800s. The jug with a bulbous body and ribbed neck, the beakers with everted rims, and simple feet. All with engraved decoration and armorial crests and marked with a makers mark G with four pellets over. No sword control mark, which came into use in 1814, hence the date of c1800.The heavy solder on the bases, see photos, and the simple decoration are all consistent with this date. In superb collector's condition with no damage or repair and little wear. Jug Height: 33mm, diameter of neck: 19mm. I have many stunning pieces of collector's silver in my shop, please look at my other items. I aim only to list antique silver items that are without damage, repair, alteration or undue wear. My silver pieces are ideal as special gifts, for collectors, for investors, or for resale by dealers. I provide clear descriptions and photos.
The silver is photographed in flat natural light, but silver is so reflective that black spots from the camera and other reflections are sometimes unavoidable. Please check the dimensions of the object carefully as apparent size can be deceptive. Bank details provided on request. Sizes, weights etc are all approximate.
