Exquisite Vintage Fragonard Enamel Dutch Silver & Gilt Snuff/pill Box

  
VERY PRETTY AND COLLECTABLE FRAGONARD enamel Dutch silver/gilt snuff/pill box. This is a Devine little box which has been beautifully engraved on the lid & body. The base has a free cartouche which would be ideal for personalising or initialing for a gift. The base of the box is clearly fully hallmarked with a star & a 3 leaf clover. The lid has a lovely hand painted enamel cartouche signed FRAGONARD.

The hinge is strong & lid closes flush with the body of the box. On opening the lid there is a beautiful soft gilt finish which is in fabulous condition. This top quality box is in excellent COLLECTORS CONDITION.
