The company was founded in 1860 by Elizur G. Webster & Brother in 1865.
It was incorporated as Webster Manufacturing Co. The piece still has the original silver plate trimmed cork lid in good condition. However the spout cork that would also have been capped in matching silverplate is missing. Standing approximately 11.25 inches tall to the tip of the lid, the cocktail shaker is in nice, clean condition.Typical of these wares, the copper shows through the silver plated figural surface work (see closeup photos).
