The set was made by the well known silver smith and supplier to the Dutch Royal Court Van Kempen & Zonen. It is a very classic design with beaded rim. Each knife and fork has a set of hallmarks on the back. It has the makers mark of Van.

Kempen, the lion passant which stands for the purity of 833/1000, Minerva with the letter C which stands for the city of Den Haag (the Haque) and the year letter Z which stands for 1905. The total weight is 48.4 troy oz / 1000 gr.
