Exquisite Dutch Colonial style Coffee Pot made by Barbour Silver Co. In the late 1800s or early 1900s. The main portion is fully covered with figures, trees, windmills, and scrolls in high relief.
The handle and spout are gracefully decorated with lavish scrolls and coils. The windmill shaped top has an artfully designed finial. This is crafted in a silver plate over a copper base and tiny appearances of copper shine throughout along the edges of the hats and scrolls. The bottom has the hallmark of a windmill between two smoking pipes, commonly used by the Barbour Silver Co. Which later became part of International Silver.
It is numbered 3175 and measures 9 in height. This is in excellent condition and well cared for. Buyers, please note: Vintage and antique items are not always perfect.
