Nicely crafted, the diminutive pitcher of tapering cylindrical form with sparrow bead spout and scrollwork handle, the base raised on three paw feet anf the surface decorated with three portrait medallions amid scrollwork and masks on a pebble ground. The underside stamped with Dutch rampant lion and shield hallmark, "C" date letter (possibly 1837, though likely later) along with partly obscured mark. Dimensions: 2.36" high x 1.8" wide x 1.57 deep (6cm x 4.6cm x 4cm). Weight: 0.68 troy oz.Overall, the jug is in good condition with appropriate signs of age. All major flaws are noted in the condition report above; however, as each of our items is unique and with a history of its own, there may be minor flaws and signs of age from years of handing which are not mentioned.
