Antique Dutch Silver Fancy Miniature Teapot / Kettle on Stand Realistic! Presented is a charming antique silver miniature kettle on stand. This is a Dutch piece, dating to circa 1900. The kettle on stand is done in a much earlier 1600s form, and is quite intricately detailed. The kettle features a finely engraved band of foliate decoration around the midpoint, as well as tiny lion's head masks where the swing handle joins the body. The stand is made in an ornate openwork form, with stylized triple-scroll dragons forming the three legs.

The handle of the kettle really swings, and the lid comes off just like a full size kettle. This piece is in great condition.

There are no splits, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs. Each individual piece (the lid, the teapot itself, the handle, and the stand) is marked with the Dutch small article mark, guaranteeing at least 833 purity silver. The handle and the kettle are also marked with a maker's mark, that we unfortunately do not recognize. The kettle measures about 2 1/2 inches tall on the stand, with the handle raised. The total weight is 43 grams or 1.5 regular ounces.
