This exceptional antique Dutch silver biscuit box has rectangular form with rounded corners. The body of the box is plain and encompassed with a band of applied reed decoration to the lower rim. This biscuit box retains the original hallmarked cover with a central raised plateau and ornamented with further reed decoration in addition to an applied girdle design to the rim.
