With a piece or style number "3855". The mark is co-branded with the International Silverplate Co. So it post-dates their 1895 merger - my guesstimate is 1920 or earlier.
Shaker depicts a very ornate scene of what looks like a Baroque-period Dutch village in full party mode - a couple dances, a man stands atop a barrel playing the pipes, men and women chat and flirt, and a drunkard lies passed out on top of a keg. Cobbler style shaker complete with sieve lid, and cap.Note a couple of condition issues - mainly, there is a chain attached to the cap that is detached from the lid - but still present, if you want to make the repair. One ding on the side - see photo - not that visible, really, due to the repousse surface. A few small dings/bumps on the cap. Overall, though, a solid and functional piece, and nice addition to any serious collection.
